YES!
I’d run out of things to watch and have been eagerly awaiting Volume 3. RT sponsor life is gonna help so I’ll get it an hour earlier too.

I need to talk to Nakai-san so I can get a RWBY RWB. Now I wonder if it’s been done.

Sweet! This has been a very fun show so far, especially considering the limited budget and tools they are utilizing.

Yeah, some bits look a bit rough, but it’s great overall. Now that we’re finally at an action-heavy part of the plot and big-name talent has joined in (for the original English version and the Japanese dub!), I’m expecting awesome things from RT in this volume.

Hmm.
I like RWBY, but I fail to understand why.
I find the character concepts compelling, I see so much potential in the world story, and the action scenes are badass.
The rest of the animation is sub-par, the characters themselves need more serious development, and it relies so heavily on tropes and cliche that it comes off as an amalgam of every anime I’ve ever seen.
And yet, I’m still genuinely excited to see what happen in Season Volume 3.
I guess I just see so much potential there; I think Monty had a fantastic concept in mind, and I know the RT team can pull it off... but I’m just never fully satisfied at the end of an episode.
Perfect example in a nutshell: Volume 2, Episode 1 - The food fight scene!
So much badass going on there, but the ending leaves me wanting.
I’m the worst RWBY fan, i know...

I liked that episode - once the food fight started, I just looked at it as RT’s way of saying “Welcome back to
RWBY
!”
I love RWBY , but I’ll agree that it has its flaws. Right off the bat, the trailer shows off two audiences - the one in the building looks too low-res (or is at least out-of-focus in an odd-looking way IMO), and the Faunas in the next scene are unnervingly still. I hope that’s improved by the time it airs - I think RT felt that they needed to get something out to build hype after so long and prioritized the action scenes first (as they should IMO). They also recycle an old joke from Volume 1 with Ruby and Weiss; I liked the joke, but I hope they’re not going to rely too heavily on past humor. I vaguely remember watching one of RT’s making-of videos of Volume 2 where they show off their improved lighting (at least for the environment), but the characters in the trailer don’t seem to have shadows in open-air scenes.
Some characters do need a lot of work - Ren and Nora have basically been entirely neglected barring the series’ attempt at shipping them, and we also have yet to hear from the other two guys in Sun and Neptune’s group. Ruby and Weiss should get more character development this time around since we’ll see more of their families. Other characters are fine - I’m not entirely sure if Jaune and Pyrrha are together-together after Volume 2 Episode 7, and Blake has the most character development IMO since she’s tied so closely to the White Fang (and there’s more in store if the end of Volume 2 is any indication).
Oddly enough, typing all of this out and going back through brief clips of Volume 2 has left me wanting to re-watch the series in preparation for the new volume again, and I’m more hyped than ever.

Same here, though it’s a bit bittersweet without Monty.

Tell me about it - I'm still bummed out about his death.
